![]() My first day at North Devon Moving Image was a success!! I've just started preparing for my documentary on the North Devon surfer Trevor Lumley and its going great. I started putting down ideas for how the film was going to go and started thinking about what i was going to ask Trevor in his interview. I also had to work out what a plan for the week so i could prepare for what needed to be done everyday, for example , what day i would be planing on filming. i had to make sure that weather would be suitable for filming in and that my interviewee would be available on that set day. I also learnt the technical side of filming like how to use the cameras, mikes, different types of camera shots, editing, sound, etc. Then i could start deciding the different aspects of my film. What would be my style of my film, what were the different camera shots i would use and how i would make it effective on the viewer. I was tort different rules and techniques that a film has to have in it and what elements you would need in your movie that make your particular film unique. I have had a brilliant first day and have been tort many different things about film making. i am very excited for what the rest of the week and i cant wait to see what it has in store for me.
